Just preparing some prints for the upcoming “They have retired” exhibition at the Tiny Town Gallery in downtown Tucson. The IBM 360 system sure was a nice addition to some stylish 60s offices..
Just added a new rendering – a nightshot of this iconic midcentury building in Palm Springs, California. See the Southwest Midcentury Architecture page for more.
Good news: The fourth round of the Desert Dust Cinema, our short film festival in the former ghosttown Lobo/Texas, will happen during next year’s Labor Day weekend – that’s Saturday, September 03 and Sunday, September 04 2016. As usual, we will have more information on the schedule online during summer on the festival’s website.
The screenings will again take place outside in the evening at the former Lobo gas station. Live music will also be happening, at no entry fee. If you haven’t been around, join us for this special long weekend in September 2016!

Here’s a preview of Tucson’s one and only Glyn Royston, relaxing between some takes just before getting back in the saddle again. There’s more to come soon.
More than three years have passed since our “Sync 15” clip for NSI saw the light of day. Since then, Tobias Freund and Max Loderbauer seem to have added tons of modular synthesizers and others stuff to their ever evolving equipment as a new liverecording shows.
This high resolution clip documents the art of instant composing, electronic abstraction and otherworldy organic sound design of Non Standard Institute – captured live at their studio space in Berlin. Dive in and enjoy!
